I own Port Barrington Marine across from Broken Oar and have been in business for 41 years now.... I've been losing a lot of customers to Lakes due to the water being closed or no wake on Lower River when it's open in the Lakes. everyone is enjoying the lower Fox River the restaurants are all good and it's the only 17-Mile stretch that you can leave your boat on plane and not have to slow down for a no-wake I'd hate to see that change.

There’s plenty of areas that can be used without adding more no wakes.

We already no the deal. All these tee huger clowns that want this do not spend money. They laund there little plastic bull shot boat for free they don’t go to restaurants and spend money they don’t have to buy passes it’s jusy like the tree hugging bikers we deal with that take up the whole road. From Colorado commenting on this. Yes people who have exspenaive toys spend money. People with cheap toys do not!

Not fair to take away our rights as waterfront owners and boaters

This is BS just like the stop for crosswalk nonsense. Let’s stop a line of 10 cars and inconvenience 10 people so one cyclist can walk across the road. Isn’t it easier for the cyclist to pay attention and cross after the cars pass. Same thing here let’s screw over 100 power boaters so one dummy trying to canoe on a Sunday can take all day to go up river

No additional no wake zones or restrictions on speed boating anywhere on any part of the lower river.

This is outrageous. There is ample space on the river already for non power boats. We need to keep the river a power boaters river.

I do not want this. I live on the river for a reason. This would lower my property value and I will move.

This is the first I'm hearing of this and it will force me to leave the area to persue other venues for my powerboating leaving behind a loose for the waterway in gas food fees and I don't see the benefit for these changes.

This could possibly reduce the value of my home!
