We all bought our homes on the lower Fox River for the sole reason of owning and operating power boats. In limiting this is going to drastically lower the values of our homes. Please leave us alone and go paddle the rest of the 90% of the river where power boats can not go.

Please leave the lower Fox River the way it is. Many of us that live on the river or use it regularly are doing so with Power boats. No restrictions please!

If you want to get into nature go on a river or stream not intended for power boats. The question needs to be ask, will the Population of people in power boats exceed that of the people in paddle crafts? I think not.

I live right on the lower Fox River . The main attraction of the house in this location for boating and skiing activities. If this proposal goes through it will destroy the culture or the lower river - I will move, as will many many others, to a location where one can continue to pursue and enjoy these activities. I canoe, kayak and paddle board on the river as-is. Remember why this area of the river was dredged in the first place in the 1950's! For the enthusiastic enjoyment by power boaters of virtually every stripe - pontoon boats, center consoles, cruisers, fishing boats, ski boats, personal watercraft, deep V’s etc. This proposal will destroy the value created and investment that many many people have made, since the '50's to this very day, for the legions of families and visitors that are "the lower Fox!"

The upper river is no wake from Grasslake to the Wisconsin border. This has caused the river to silt up causing it to get shallower and shallower.Flooding happens more often because the river can't handle the water from big storm systems. Don't let this happen to the lower river.

I have been boating since 1993, and for the past 20 years I have lived on the lower Fox River, and do not mind sharing the river with others. I have always been aware of slower personal watercraft. Canoes, kayaks, and now paddle boards. What this proposal is doing, is akin to taking Route 14 from Palatine to Crystal Lake and making it a bike path and pedestrian walkway. I do not support this measure

Don't change the power boating on the lower Fox. Its a destination spot helping businesses, family recreation, home values, tax revenue just to mention a few.
