This would destroy boat traffic and businesses on the river. The river is already busy enough without adding the dangers of a "water trail". There are plenty of area that are not boat able that could be used for this not the fox river from Wisconsin to Algonquin.

Build your water path from Algonquin south where it belongs or north in Wi. Leave the Chain alone.

This may seem like a good idea on paper, but not the answer to keeping people in illinois. Think about how this will effect every river front properties home value. I have made many sacrifices to move to the lower river specifically to be able to boat.

Do not change the boating rules on the lower Fox River. Let’s enjoy the river as we have, and for our power boaters. Thank you.

There are no wake zones, state park areas, miles of upper river north of blarneys, miles below algonquin dam for kayaks and paddleboards. I have canoes paddleboards and powerboat. I non motorize in a.m. and powerboat in pm. Most motorized boats are gone from oct to may. The flooding adds to whole system no wakes 4 times this year. Leave everything as is.

Grew up on this river. We like it the way it is... There are plenty of small lakes and ponds in the area for powerless water craft.

I spend my entire summer in the river with my family playing games, tanning, and overall just having a great time.

This is a terrible idea! The businesses along the river are already stressed with the weather conditions this year. Making that whole section no wake is a death knell. I live right on the river I kayak I don't own a power boat but I am opposed to this solution.
