STOP BIG BROTHER FROM DRAMATICALLY RESTRICTING POWERBOATING ON THE LOWER FOX

Let’s make the river safe for everyone!

For memories sake!

I believe all of us who have a stake in the lower Fox River, including those of us with slips in marinas, should have a say in this proposal.

We are water skiing on lower river for 20 years and we enjoy it as is without no wake zones. Let keep in wild as is and not convert it to ‘amusement park’ NO to that plan!

As a riverfront homeowner and avid water skier, safety AND open use are always of paramount concern. Personally open to any conversation, but initial concern is the "mixed" use being touted here, and hope a sensible outcome can be reached without excessive restriction to how the Fox River has ALWAYS been used for - which is powerboat recreation.

As a taxpaying, feepaying homeowner that lives on the lower river, I oppose these changes. Leave good enough alone!

They will ruin recreational boating for everyone and also ruin people’s home values

It's the power boaters that are bringing money to the Fox, One boat could hold 8 to 10 people to walk into a restaurant on the lower fox. A canoe maybe 2, Hello!!!! Move your Ecosystem somewhere else.

Power boaters also are the one spending money on Registration fees...paddle boards aren't required. Fuel...patronizing local and on water eaterys....local marinas. Not your business to restrict lawful operation by tax-paying Americans of watercraft.

This is a ridiculous proposal.. the people who pay the outrageous taxes to live on the waterfront will lose not only in access, but in property values which will affect the revenue of each county. NO NO NO!!!

The idea of creating “safe zones” throughout the lower fox river is a poor plan as 1) most users/ homeowners expect such traffic and enjoy such environment 2) force boaters into traveling up river and into the lakes to achieve such power boating resulting in an enormous increase in loch usuage ( which already seems to be a slow moving process as is) and essentially relocate “ boater traffic” into a more singulated and populated area. On top of which will further more influence power boaters to “ not so patiently” commute to and from the loch via “ safe zones” ultimately removing the idea of boaters wanting to avoid no wake zones entirely due to the fact that there is no alternative route.

I say no to the eco system bill

This is an outrage to lower river home owners that pay taxes. It all sounds sneaky and corrupt.

I live on the Fox River in St. Charles and I would be absolutley outraged if outside of my house they tried to make it some kind of "safe zone" how ridiculous. Let people use the river at their own risk!
