STOP BIG BROTHER FROM DRAMATICALLY RESTRICTING POWERBOATING ON THE LOWER FOX

I’m a kayaker and a boater. There is plenty of space for motor boats and paddle boats to be on the River at the same time. Kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats can simply stay to the side to enjoy the scenery, while sharing the River with power boats. Keep the power boats on the Fox River! Hundreds of families who have power boats absolutely LOVE boating and create life-long memories together cruising the Fox! My husband and I live on the river so we can jump on a boat or waverunner and enjoy.

I used to boat on the Fox River and Lakes and thoroughly enjoyed using the system. The impact on business along the Lower Fox River will be detrimental. It will not only affect these businesses but their supply chain as well. The affect of flooding the last few years was bad enough to the local economy so let's not make that permanent.

Heard about a meeting to discuss river conditions but didn’t seam to include what is mentioned here. I’m a 25 year resident on the waterway.

This is a terrible idea. By limiting or eliminating the ability of power boats errs to use the entire Fox River upper and lower is a huge mistake. This will significantly and negatively impact All the businesses along the waterfront, and will also decrease the home values of those on the water. While there are elements of this plan they are very good, there needs to be more thought put into it before it is implemented.

No to increase safe zones. Power boats need to stay on the lower river.

This would be a terrible decision for the community and businesses in this area.

Go on bangs lake or island lake if you want to paddle board or canoe.

Reach out to those most impacts - common sense- common decency- basic Democracy

I own a home and 8 acres on the river in this zone. No one asked me and its the first I've heard of this. They are crooked as crooked gets.

I oppose the increase of safe zones. I support open power boating on the lower fox.

If for no other reason than the shady way they have tried to sneak this through. Reeks of politics.

I say "NO" to a ecosystem and more no wake areas on the lower river. Allow all boaters to continue enjoying the wonder system as is.

Unbelievable BAD plan.

There are other designated areas or places for these paddle boats and kayaks. Do we go to their locations and try to change their water ways? I think it needs to be left alone as is. There would be more harm than good to come from this. It’s still a huge part of family boaters a d the home owners who pay taxes... to live on this wayerway! would be losing a lot.. of our culture coming from a life long boater and 3rd generation boater!

Definitely a no to "safe zones",

We need the ability to go into the chain of lakes in a boat, not anything else.
