I agree, a totally absurd idea. I'am sure the businesses on the lower fox would not vote for this.

I moved to the area a few months ago for the location, boating on the river.
Now the property I own will loose value, I will loose enjoyment of the river and
“I Will Be Forced To Pay For It”
Another Sad thing about Illinois

More consideration and discussion by all stakeholders is needed for this; the attempt to sneak this by without people knowing and having their voices heard is unacceptable. I do not oppose the reduction of boat traffic on the river, but I do oppose doing it by this underhanded tactic.

More under handed politics not supporting the thousands of homes and boaters who were here before them and enjoy this natural asset as much as anyone else!!!

Stop this madness. Build kayaking areas in some of the backwaters and areas not accessible to power boaters.

I have been boating on the fox river for over 25 years and have never hear of such an asinine idea. I would like to know if the owners of Kiefs Reef, Riverside,Broaken Oar and the two Marina's are on board with this, I will bet not. Kristin thanks for taking the time to drop a note around town.
