I am a fisherman who respectfully boats on the lower Fox River. I value the ability freely motor up and down the river from fishing hole to fishing hole. Please don’t take away the rights of power boaters to run up and down the river. There’s room for us all and a time and place for other watercraft.

In my opinion, this will seriously hurt many of the businesses on the entire chain...not just the lower river.

As a homeowner on pistakee lake I vote against any kind of safe zones or a corridor plan. NO to the plans!

There are beautiful channels & smaller lakes for smaller watercraft to use.

I have childhood memories of boating on the river and would like to continue those memories with family and friends.

If this plan is to restrict power boating on the lower Fox River, unequivocally my vote is NO.
It’s why I, and thousands of others have lived on the water here for better than 20 years.
And I have the property tax receipts to prove it.....
Nobody is interested in hour plus (very plus if anywhere near Cary and south) in no wake zones to use our well invested boats on the chain.
What’s the point?
A federally controlled acreage reserve?
Wrong place.
Build your bike trails.
Develop unused, much of which is unmanaged, property.
I can say, knowingly, that each of us has hundreds, not just tens, of thousands of dollars invested in our lifestyles.
We aren’t here to paddle.
We water ski, wake board, jet ski, and just plain drive the river for the pleasure of it.
It’s WHY we live here.
And it will most certainly close most businesses that depend on an active river to thrive.

Keep this open to boaters. It would be costly for them having to go to the upper river. Plus whats next toll for using the locks?
