This is literally highway robbery. I travel from New Jersey to JFK numerous numerous times a month a third of my salary goes the tolls it's ridiculous
The highest toll in the country.
Find other ways to raise funds besides Tolling blue collar workers to death

I thought a public meeting must be done first before any increase of tolls would be allowed. Did they have a public meeting?????????

This is completely outrageous and not fair to New Yorkers as a whole. Why should we pay $17 as if $16 wasn't high enough to actually get on the bridge when it's like a neighboring place to Brooklyn!?! Stop this madness !

Ridiculous, I have many friends who live on the Brooklyn side who HAVE to travel at least 2-3 times a day to SI for work purposes. What's the point if all you're going to do is take the money and still not have that bridge fixed?

I live in NJ and work in Brooklyn, i take the Verrazano Bridge 22 times a month it would cost me at this rate $374 a month. This is absolutely absurd. The MTA just decides to take money that is not even used for the bridge and apply it to a deficit that they have elsewhere. The mayor tried to do this to water bills and lost in court. Its time to take the MTA to court to allow the public to realize that the toll money on the Verrazano Bridge is not even used to upkeep it, it is used for random projects that they have elsewhere in NYC.

The cost of tolls on the Verrazano Bridge is way to High !! During most of the year , I travel across that Bridge on average 12 times ! That is a lot of money ( vein with EZ Pass) . There should be some sort of discount for Brooklynites !! I also have Family I visit in Staten Island , and it shouldn't cost a fortune to visit family on a weekly basis !! MTA, Please consider giving a Discount to Brooklynites ....Thank You
