I'm a senior citizen living on a limited income...I cannot pay for the high tolls of the Verrazano Bridge ...I have not visited my children and grandkids in New Jersey for over three months because I can't afford the high toll charge. The Outerbridge Crossing added to this, makes a family trip impossible.

the MTA should give an adjusted rate to Brooklyn residents for the Verrazano Bridge and STOP taking a large % of the funds collected at VZ to fund and support MTA's Long Island rail road and Metro north

High bridge tolls discourage non-residents from seeking employment in Staten Island. This places Staten Island businesses and city agencies at a disadvantage in the labor market which leads to longer vacancies and hiring of less skilled workers. This is bad for everyone in Staten Island. A non-resident commuter discount would encourage more workers to seek employment in Staten Island.

I work in new Jersey and the tolls I have to pay every day to get to work is unaffordable we really need to be offered a discount especially if we use the bridge that often

My father watched that bridge go up when he was in the VA Hospital. They said it would be free, after a while. It's 2017.'Didn't the bridge open in the late sixties?
