Too much money. We should not have to pay to travel from one borough to another, if you are a NYC resident.

This is absolutely ridivolous, we were promised once the bridge was done, there would be no more increases. I cannot afford this.

NYC is already too expensive for non-millionaires to live in. This toll increase along with the constant increases for subway and bus fares are forcing the Middle Class out. Who are you going to get your money from then?

Going to CSI for several years from Brooklyn really broke the bank paying the toll everyday

It's simply not fair and very unnecessary.

Till is too damn much. The mta are separating families, limiting education and ruining commerce on Staten Island. Even with the discount it is costly and ridiculous. My cardiologist is in Staten Island and besides the expensive co-pay, with the bridge till I spend half of my weekly check

I am a recent Statent Island resident. And even I think the toll is ridiculous. I have a lot of family in Brooklyn that i see less often just bc of the toll.

I also work full time in Staten Island, but I live in Brooklyn. A commuter rate is not asking much. $2,700 per year in one TOLL is a lot of money.

This has been a long time problem with the MTA. Many times has ot been raised and promised that it would be a free bridge when the inital cost was recovered. Understandable but that cost has long come and gone, yet rates are still increasing. Giving special considerations to one side but not the other and they want us to be ok with it. On top of them rasing the train fares starting sunday. Its time to take a stand.

I cross this bridge at least 16 times in a month. In the past 5 years i have paid $10,500 in tolls so i can get to work. Why can't brooklyn residents who work in staten island receive the same benefits as staten island residents? Its time for a change!!!

Due to the high toll fare, it's costly to spend time with my daughter on my court awarded visitations.

This price gouging is absolutely disgusting. All these MTA bigwigs and politicians need to kicked out. Isn't there anyone who cares about the little people!

It is downright disgraceful to live in a city and not want to visit another part because of an outrageous toll

I've been saying this for years. My daughter swam on a USA swim team practicing at Wagner College for years. She swam 6 days a week. I'm in Bay Ridge, drove over 6 days a week & stayed in SI for 3 hours at a time because to go back & forth was crazy. I spent in fortune on tolls!
