Enough is enough! Stop killing the hardworking taxpayers! We are having so much trouble making ends-meat as it is! Shame on you MTA. Lower the fare!

You have less toll collectors than when the bridge first opened in the 60's...people are finding it difficult to pay their bills...it is time City Hall stands up for the people and cut back on the tolls. The tolls were going stop once the bridge was paid off. This bridge was probably paid off 10 years ago. It is really a shame to see the public get ripped off...with tolls, fare increases, tickets, etc.

This is really turned into a joke now.
How is it with all the different rallys and protests by people for sometimes nothing not that important sometimes get results. We the people need to try and fight these increases that occur every year or every other year. It cost u an arm and a leg to visit a friend or relative. And for people like me that most family in South Jersey, It cost $32.00 just im tolls for 2 bridges. And atleast another $20.00 in gas. The tolls on the Garden state parkway are $4.00 rpund trip which is acceptable and the do more for their roads and parkways than N.Y. does for theirs.. Where is all the money NY makes on these insane tolls just to cross a damn bridge ?? I wish someone can explain it to the people. We have let these increases keep occuring without doing a damn thing about. Its about time we step up and fight and say ENOUGH ALREADY !!!!

I live in Staten Island but know many Brooklynites who have to work in Staten Island. The discount should really be extended to anyone who uses the toll 10+ more times per month. So many Brooklynites have family in Staten Island and this is the only way to get there by car without having to go through New Jersey. It doesn't make sense to be forced to pay such a high price, especially if one lives in the surrounding zip codes by the Bridge in Brooklyn. Fair is Fair.

I commute to and from New York at least 10 times a month. This toll hike is unfair and outrageous.

The toll for the Verrazano bridge is a damn joke! We should all boycott and never cross it again. One day of not crossing and they'll lose millions.

The toll is highway robbery I have to use it once a week and it really harms me financially.

Bay Ridge residents should also get a discount like Staten Island residents. $17 is too high for a bridge that generates countless amounts of money each day.

Discounts for Manhattan residents who have to travel to Staten Island for work as NYCDOT workers will help also....Staten Islanders having a discount isn't fair across the board.
