Obviously, Alex needs a gym so he doesn't get fat because weight reduction, bro. Also, when Phil gets a racing clutch, Alex is obviously gonna need some ripped legs for stop-and-go London traffic. Furthermore, how else will he stop Ethan's incessant whining? Who wants to hear things like 'There's nothing wrong with the Prius' and 'Please pull over, I'm going to pee myself' and 'you shouldn't be going 130 kmh in the bike lane' when they're going out to get some maaaad mods for their car? Certainly not Alex. I rest my case.
