The camp blanket is the tool that comes out to show younger girls your guiding achievements. What a shame the highest award cannot have pride of place!

Having just sewn 10 badges onto my two daughters' camp blankets , I completely agree with the 'journey' through guiding. I think this is an excellent petition and hope it brings success for the movement.

Badges are inexpensive to produce, and could be a great fundraiser for Girlguiding! The demand is absolutely there.

When I got mine years ago we have a cloth and metal so why not now. Still have mine on a blanket 37yrs on

There was a cloth badge with ALL the previous QG awards so why not now?

qg since 1978 but ranger leader with current QG girls who dont want to have QG badges at camp but would like cloths for thire blankets

I am old enough to have a cloth Queens Guide badge and proudly display it on my camp blanket, think that should still be able to happen!

After being told this award is very special and few people get it, my award ceremony showed a surprising number of women receiving it! I can't imagine there not being demand, at least for a small run of badges... My camp blanket looks lonely, missing the most important award of all!

im already on my 3rd camp blanket and am due to finish my Queens guide in april. my brownies and guides love to see my camp blankets and acheivements on there.

I think the girls blankets will still be with them long after their uniform. If that's what they're asking for-why not?
