You can get cloth badges of other achievements. So why shouldn't the highest award you can earn in guiding have one too ?? (You can be awarded cloth badges for years of service badges ?!!)

Cloth badges are really cheap to produce. The beautiful one produced recently by a scouter would be perfect (it matched the Queen's Scout Award which was nice for rh

Cloth Badges are better than Pin they last a lot longer and you cant lose them as easily, There should not be any pin badges they should all be cloth.

I would love one for my blanket, all other achievements are recorded on there but not this very important one.

I asked GGUK for a cloth badge and they replied that there wasn't the demand - this shows there is. Thank you for the opportunity to come together and ask. x

Queen Scouts have a cloth badge for their award and I think it would be brilliant if Queens Guides had the same option. Especially for those who wish to show their guiding journey through badges on a blanket. At the moment the thing we worked for the hardest is missing; it just seems a shame.

The metal and enamel badges we receive for the Queen's Guide Award are beautiful - but I daren't take either to camp. Being able to sew a cloth version onto my camp blanket is very important to me to show my Guiding journey.

If there is enough interest for a Scouter to make one and sell loads on eBay, then there is enough interest for Girlguiding to make them.

One to cover GQ earned in the 1970s would be good!

Would be nice to have cloth badges for all the achievements, personally I would prefer these to metal ones

As an "old" Queens Guide with a daughter with both the Queens Guide and Queens Scout Award I cannot believe Guiding do not think there is a demand for a cloth version of the badge. Regardless of the number of Queens Guides in existance this Award should be given the recognition it deserves! There is a cloth version of the Queens Scout badge. I thought we were "Girl led"....or are Queens Guides no longer classed as "girls".
