I remember Gil when he played for the Brooklyn Dodgers. I was a young child them and thought he was just great player and a gentleman. H deserves to be with the other Dodgers who are in the Hall of Fame.

I seriously cannot understand why Gil Hodges is not in the hall ofr fame!! He was a vital key player on the Brooklyn dodgers. He was an exceptional first baseman and his contributuins to the brooklyn dodgers is priceless. If they refuse to put him in the hall of fane as a player then put him in as the manager for the NY Mets!!! He worder a miracle w/ them and thr players cannot praise him enough!!Wake up ingnorant baseball writers who apparently only know about players or managers they have seen in action!!!
