You can't discriminate against him just because other members of his great team have been enshrined.

Gil's performance both on-field for the Dodgers and as Mets manager were superb and definitely Hall of Fame worthy...his hitting, fielding and management were exemplary, as was his character, and his premature death was a terrible loss to the game of baseball. He should be remembered and inducted.

Unquestionably the most conspicuously worthy player who's been neglected his due for far too long. The Brooklyn Dodgers, Los Angeles Dodgers and the '69 NY Mets could never have had such success without him.

Saw Gil play and manage. He qualifies due to hid excellence at both.

IT'S A REAL TRAVESTY THAT SUCH A FINE PLAYER PERSON AND MANAGER HAS NOT BEEN ELECTED TO THE HALL OF FAME. HE MAY HAVE NOT HAD THE NUMBERS BUT THE INTEGRITY, SPORTMANSHIP MANAGERIAL ABILITIES AND ALL AROUND FATHER FIGURE SHOULD HVE GOTTEN HIM IN ON THE FIRST TRY.
You can't discriminate against him just because other members of his great team have been enshrined.
