I knew him in the Brooklyn neighbourhood and saw him play... He was a good man and a great player... The Hall is not complete without him.

If I could see a valid reason for excluding Gil Hodges from Hall of Fame inclusion, I wouldn't sign this petition. However, all my research and reading only points to a glaring oversight of all involved for his not having been there sooner. As a fan, an advocate, and someone who would like to see a wrong tighter. I urge his acceptance At the earliest opportunity.

This is a major snub. Hodges has all the credentials for the Hall and the Hall and its voters lose credability by failing to induct him.
