I think Gil should have been in there years ago . He was one of the most loved and respected people in the league . No one deserves to be in the Hall Of Fame if Gil Hodges doesn't deserve it .

This guy needs to be in...if Pee Wee made it so should Gil PEE WEE had a lifetime .263 and Gil a .273......Look at the numbers....He was a Vet...lost some years.....had a 100RBI season 7 years in a row...was named to the all star team 8 years....really responsible for the 1969 miracle Mets....
