We need a Gibbs Middle School....Holston is to far of a drive / bus ride for our children. No child should be on the bus as long as some of these children are. I would hate to have to put my children in a private school to keep them from being bussed back and forth to Holston. Not only will that take away from Knox County getting state and federal funds but my children will be separated from their friends and lose all relationships built. Our children deserve a middle school close to home.

We need need the Gibbs Middle School..You have heard all the Reason's My Daughter was stripped from a better education. When we relocated because of distance. Both parents worked.Grandparents another state. she was in 5th grade what happen to that 5 year Plan???

I'm tired of my daughter being on the bus for 3 hours a day. As far as my concern is for the kids safety and education. We should be zoned for halls not holston. We are 10 minuites away from Halls

I attended Gibbs from the first grade on. We didn't have a "real" middle school when I was there, but Holston Middle is not the answer! My oldest daughter went there and was bullied over and over all 3 years. Plus trying to go to after school events just makes it hard on parents when you have other children at other schools closer to home.
