Close school for a whole week. The flu is contagious for a full week before you even show symptoms, plus the week it takes to feel better. Give these kids a chance to get well again before forcing them back. I have children who are immunocompromised, think of those kids who cannot get the vaccine, and those who the flu will be deadly to.

I agree with this entirely last year I visited my dying grandmother and missed seven out of my 12 days possible then ended up sick with a horrible fever and bad cold and ended up barely making 12 misses anymore amd I wouldn’t have graduated

I have one school aged son and two younger children at home. My youngest has a heart condition, and I am absolutely terrified of her getting sick. Please, let the community as a whole recover from this outbreak.

As being a student in high school, there are many kids absent and are missing school because they are sick and aren't able to come to school let alone get out of bed. All the while, school is still in session and just a few are going. Something needs to happen and be fixed.
