I lived here freshman year and it was tough not being closer to campus. I would definitely not want this for my Senior year BC experience!

As a rising junior, it is disheartening to think that rising seniors have to live in 2000. Let them resubmit housing so they have chance to live on lower campus, not in a building that used to be considered off campus because it is off campus.

Although I am not a part of this group of senior girls, myself and 7 other rising senior friends, have also been placed in 2000 for senior year. As a senior who was given four years of housing upon being accepted to BC, I find it extremely unfair that I am now given a placement that is off campus and is only considered on campus because the building is owned by BC. By placing senior students in 2000, it goes against a BC tradition of having all seniors come back on campus for senior year. Furthermore, one of the major reason that I chose to attend BC is because of the community atmosphere that it prides itself on. However, by placing such a small amount of seniors in 2000, which is away from friends, classmates, and the rest of the BC community, I believe that those students in 2000, including myself, will not be able to have the same community experience that they would if living on campus. As someone who lived on CoRo during my sophomore year, which is considered a dreaded living space for sophomores, I feel that this will be a much different experience since 2000 is not even spatially connected to campus. There are many days that I walk through BC's campus and I am thankful to be at a such an amazing school, that has also become a home and BC is constantly trying to make the BC campus and community even better. Over my three years here so far, I have been able to watch BC make many changes to the campus in order to provide students with newer buildings and more state of the art facilities. One facet of the many changes that have been proposed is to have more students living on campus and I really feel that having students live in 2000 is contrary to the end goal. With the construction of new buildings, I am extremely frustrated that BC did not plan correctly to fulfill the BC tradition of all seniors living on campus.

As a senior at BC, I was fortunate enough to be able to enjoy reconnecting with many members of my class who had recently gone abroad who had now returned to campus. While I lived on Newton as a freshman so can appreciate the separate but equal living situation, I don't believe senior year is the time to split up a class, particularly when BC prides itself on fostering community.
