PLEASE SIGN AND FORWARD THIS PETITION TO GET TRADITIONAL MULTIPLAYER ADDED TO DOOM ETERNAL'S DEVELOPMENT.
id Software has announced they are not including a traditional multiplayer with Eternal, only their new BattleMode (which looks great, too, but would look even greater alongside traditional MP). Well, I know many of you out there are disappointed by this. Time to do something about it!
Even if the MP development isn't ready in time for release on 11/22/19, it can be launched as DLC later on.
From reading through forums, two multiplayer modes are requested the most:
1. Arena (no loadouts)
2. Deathmatch (w/ loadouts, just like DOOM 2016)
And if there's enough resources, do a horde-style mode (call it Invasion, since that's been replaced by BattleMode).

I will be less likely to get this game knowing there won’t be an improved multiplayer from the 2016 release. I would play it over halo or apex if there was multiplayer death meatch style lobbies
Traditional DM is absolutely necessary in a DooM game. It doesn't have to be fancy, just basic DM.
MP Arena mode originally came from DOOM's original 1993 online game mode. I would like to see a revival
Doom invented deathmatch your doing a diservice to Doom fans by taking it out.
Honestly with the movement this game has, deathmatch will be real fun

With the type of movement and weapons this game has, not having a traditional deathmatch would be a really missed opportunity.
