Fishguard has had many minor issues over the years. It is clear that Mike Mayburry is not the man to move the town forward. The line about 'being under the limit' for driving under the influence of drugs is rubbish! That offence is a yes or no answer. Are you under the influence, yes or no? Clearly by his own admission he is a regular user, as a result he should go and people should not use an open drug user to coach their children kayaking either, he won't be insured if he is under the influence!

Shameful on several counts. He should go. This behaviour is not acceptable for anyone in public office and representing others.

What a saga, as a town we should be ashamed. Time to do the right thing and go before any more harm is done.

Think Mike Mayberry should resign, he is a most unsuitable person to be Mayor also if he is a drug user should he be taking young people out in Kayaks!

A Mayor should be an ambassador for the town he or she represents, a figurehead that its citizens lookup to and respect. My view is that Cllr Mike Mayberry has fallen well short of the qualities needed for this diplomatic roll and should resign immediately.

I am deeply saddened that the Mayoral Office and the Fishguard & Goodwick Council has been tarnished by this irresponsible and thoughtless behaviour

Wondering if the Chris John who has voted is the same Chris John the resigned from the Town Council for lying about claiming for lottery funding? The same Chris John who is a walking "Walter Mitty". The irony. Lol.

Mike Mayberry has no class. No matter how low you are people in public life should be accountable for their actions. If he had any integrity for the role or the people he represents he should resign. End of.

He may have been under the legal limit but he still had taken a drug. This is not acceptable behaviour for a person in a position of public office.

Even if charges were dropped I think it's absolutely disgusting that the mayor of the town doesnt even seem to show any remorse for his actions either!! Yes all up for bringing the town alive, younger people's ideas but still show some respect!!

Drug Driving is wrong regardless of if it was a low or high amount on the bloods, and when you are in a roll of authority and are meant to show right and wrong you need to review your actions,

Mr Mayberry you could have handled this business with integrity but you appear to be doing anything but. You are an embarrassment to the towns. Time to go.
