Get the Mayor of Fishguard and Goodwick to resign.

A mayor is a public figure and is looked upon by the town. Having only been a mayor for a few weeks and being arrested isnt showing the town he is a respectable man.

Drugs have no place in public office you demean representation of Fishguard and Goodwick town.

Please just leave you are bringing shame to this community . Time to go.

I would like to add to one of the above comments- I do live in Fishguard but my "location" on this petition seems to come up as Swansea. This also maybe the case for others commenting.

As a local business owner in Fishguard I am appalled by our mayors behaviour. His failure to apologise to the residents of the towns he represents. His seemingly arrogant and officious prevaricating in the press and on social media is an embarrassment & devalues our community. I have no idea why a vote of no confidence is not in place and pity anyone who has to work alongside him in this role. Mr Mayberry is not a bad man, but he is an awful mayor.

Should have resigned already

He has had the headline of the local paper practically evey week since being in office and only one of those was positive (for him). The Mayor is a position of integrity and respect, should be a person of dignity, someone who the people look up to, can talk to, can refer too. With the amount of work, respect and positive attitude the previous two Mayors gave these towns it is so saddening to see it all unravel so quickly under our new Mayor who by all accounts doesn't seem to care what his townspeople think of him.

What an embarrassment for our towns. A terrible "role model" for the local children. Should have resigned week's ago.

Love it that some people complaining about the mayor and they don't even live in Fishguard. One not even living in Wales.

Please elect a drug free mayor and ask this one to resign

Mike has done so much for Fishguard, it's a disgrace that his name is dragged through the mud. If there was any truth in it he would have been made an example of of leave the poor guy alone. I for one am looking forward to the positive impact he has on the towns future! After al, it couldn't get much worse. Best for the future Mike! With you all the way!!

What the hell is the "drug driving limit"?

I agree I don't want this man representing me, my town or the council. For the previous mayor to feel compelled to resign over this there must be something amiss with Mayberry.

He may have been found under the limit of drug driving, but he still committed an offence by taking drugs.

His lack of dignity, integrity & complete arrogance is disgraceful. This guy is doing nothing but damage to the town.

Not Grosvenor's biggest fan but we're a laughing stock thanks to having this idiot Mayberry as mayor. If Grosvenor felt so strongly about this he's resigned is there something we should know? Time for Mayberry to do the decent thing and resign.
