You should be applauding a student excelling, not punishing her hard work. It seams as though you are going in the wrong direction. You allowed her to be a senior, she accomplished her goal, now let her be recognized appropriately.

Are we afraid of shoulders and of people being smart enough to graduate highschool early ??? Smh if school's put in as much effort into ACTUAL problems instead of small things like this maybe people would like school.

Eliminate double standards. We are an arts school, for pete's sake. What's a little shoulder gonna do. Also, good job to Maya for graduating early!

As an alum the choices made by Sota administration are greatly dissapointing. People look to the arts community to be leaders in promoting equality in self expression, and often, it is dissapointingly biased. In this case Sota exhibits unacceptable institutional prejudice.

If she's graduating, she's a senior! Whether early ,on time or late she's a graduating senior!

Add Maya M's photo to your yearbook as we all wish she was graduating from a school that was actually proud of their students and not discrimitive.
