It's time to induct Steve Forbert into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Steve has won the respect and admiration of many music critics and fans alike in appreciation of the dedication he has to the craft of songwriting. He has the ability to reflect and encapsulate our common dreams and experiences in his songs. Whether he is writing about the responsibilities and complications of life or whatever the subject matter Steve has the ability of telling it how it is, or maybe how it should be.

The momentum behind this push is finally forcing the Hall of Fame to acknowledge what we already know. It is about damn time they stop ignoring a legend like Steve Forbert and give him the recognition he earned decades ago.

A 40 year career , way over 200 really good songs and Still going strong with brand new songs on the way! He is way way overdue for some recognition from the hall of fame!
A remarkable body of work over 5 separate decades fully deserves recognition. An inspirational songwriter and performer who continues to release quality albums.
Excellent songwriter and much underappreciated.

It would be well overdue to get Steve on the songwriters hall of fame . The quality and amount of his body of work , should had been recognized long time ago. But is never to late to make justice to this incredibly talented singer song writer!

He tells a story in perfect sync , about love about culture about life. Steve covers it. He paints his joy and heartbreak in notes. He lets us sing with him.
