Get rid of Carlton Kirby

Destroys races for me by not following the race when it on and not calling riders correctly...But his bias towards riders is dreadful and the dreadful elaborate phrases are ridiculous

His sudden latching on to riders is incredibly annoying. The lack of knowledge presented about racing tactics and riders is sometimes disturbing considering he is supposed to be the main commenator

Carlton Kirby, obese lord of cycling commentary, a sport which he should never have been allowed to broadcast - this is insufferable. Either I turn off the volume or switch to a foreign-language network in order to avoid Kirby

I'm sure Carlton Kirby is a nice bloke but he is simply the worst commentator sport has ever known. I watch Eurosport's cycling coverage in silence rather than suffer him. If being completely uninformed on the sport you are supposed to be lending expertise to isn't enough, surely this endless torrent of mindless inanity must be. Has all the personality tics that you do not want in a commentator and none of the qualities that you do. For the love of god bring back Harmon or use Hatch.

It's getting to the point that I can't watch the races I love because of Kirby's drivel that overpowers the racing. I can't focus on the racing and instead sit there in disbelief with some of the turgid rubbish that comes out of his mouth. His understanding of how pro cycling works can be bettered by a 7 year old. I'm not sure how I'm going to watch the Giro if he is commentating.

I stopped my subscription to Eurosport because I couldn't bear his constant annoying, erroneous distracting stream of consciousness. I've taken up my subscription again after a couple of years, but yet again he is ruining my cycling enjoyment. :(

I cant believe how he gets away with his insults about the towns the races pass through , the spectators and the riders.

I either don't watch when he's on (nearly always) or mute him. He must have lost a great many Eurosport UK cycling viewers, not to mention speed skating. Would he be tolerated if on a cricket or football program

Love cycling, hate this idiot's inane, irrelevant rambling, dreadful puns and hysterical screeching during the race finale. Count how many times the muppet mentions a rider "investing" or "embedding themselves". He ruins the viewing experience for me.

I often turn the sound off and just watch the races. More relevant info that way!

I mute the commentary when he's on.
