The joy I felt when I discovered this petitions is indescribable. Carlton's commentary literally ruins every second of any race. How Sean Kelly has not strangled him remains one of the greatest mysteries of human history.

A relief when they have split shifts on the mic, though sadly Carlton can still ruin a good days racing by being there for the final section

You guys really need to get a grip. Have you not got busy lives. Carlton does a job that not many can do. It's a skill that I reckon none of you could do because nasty people are usually dry, boring and always think they're better than everyone. And God forbid anyone makes a joke! Give the guy a break.

I can not watch Eurosport when he’s commentating, his latest insult of the fallen at the Great War of Rememberance Race, is just another in a long line of offensive arrogant comments. He must get paid for the amount of time he continually talks about a rider in a season eg: voeckler, gerrans, la Porte , whether that riders in the race/break or not. Insulting the fallen at WW1 though how can he be allowed to continue?

If CK is commentating then I watch online streams is Dutch/French/Spanish etc.

Thankfully Eurosport player offers alternative streams for major races, meaning I can often avoid having to listen to Carlton. The guy doesn't even seem to read the cycling news because he will be commentating on a race with no clue about events that have been reported on every major website (often even BBC).

I only watch Eurosport (with the sound off), when ITV 4 are not showing the cycling. The naffest, most banal waste of space ever.
