Watching the tour of Flanders and I have had to turn the sound off. “ A whole tray of beef has just been presented in the butcher’s window.” what a load of annoying, hysterical drivel.

Oh, God. We had 'gnarly' within ten seconds of his taking over commentary on RVV from the excellent Dan Lloyd and Adam Blythe. Time to switch off.
As usual when Eurosport inflicts him on us, I'll record and fast-forward through the inanities later. Makes it just slightly more tolerable.

The early spring classics have been a joy while he's been ruining the Volta a Catalunya, but now he's back.
Jose Been, Dan LLoyd, Matt Stephens, Magnus Backstedt, Adam Blythe - they have so many knowledgeable commentators. Even Rob Hatch is perfectly OK.
Sean Kelly hasn't said anything interesting in years.

Has this petition been sent to Eurosport yet and if so what was their response? The sooner the better if there is any chance of getting rid of Kirby before the start of the Grand Tours, 3 weeks of his prattle would be too much to bear.
