The man clearly has very little knowledge of the sport and ruins any race he commentates on, there are much better commentators on Eurosport such as Jose Been and Dan Lloyd

He just talks gibberish.....if only he would shut up...nothing he says is interesting....everything he says is complete rubbish....he ruins the coverage of cycling....he is the worst sports commentator I've ever heard. I'm sure hes a nice bloke but please please please give him a bonus and give him indoor bowls, anything so that he stops commentating and ruining eurosport cycling coverage

The art of commentating on a particular sport is much dependant on creating a picture of what is going on and understanding that sport. CK falls short on both.

Totally agree with the comment of replacing CK with Jose Been. You don’t need to be an ex-pro you just need to be well informed and talk about the racing that’s in front of you.

The perfect experiential definition of horrific disappointment is when Dan Lloyd said Carlton Kirby is taking over at 70 km to go in the ToF yesterday.
Its like long-term torture.
