Carlton Kirby is the worst commentator on cycling I have ever heard, he makes useless inane comments and tells us nothing about what is happening in the race. It’s appalling how do Eurosport get away with such rubbish it’s the first and last time I will watch The Vuelta on Eurosport.

So disappointed in Eurosport coverage. So so many umms and errs. Lack of narrative. Far far inferior to ITV4 coverage. So irritating I can hardly bear to watch it.

Just gave out that the combativity award was being decided by public vote and there have been some shocking winners!! also...it hate the patter.."Its getting busy" "Full chatter" "Lets wait and see" "Pinch point" "Marching Orders" "Engine Room" "Being in the right place is one thing being there at the right time is another".....this was just from 4km of racing....sweet mother of divine god he is stressing to listen to. He just said..."Maybe getting a little bit greedy"....what the fook.

Carlton is condescending and insulting about the route features through fantastic areas of Spain.
He is also totally patronising towards the second tier riders and domestiques. All other presenters are more knowledgeable and fun to listen to. Eurosport will lose all vast numbers to the David Millar commentary on future races.

Completely ruins any race he commentates on. Like listening to an 11-year old who laughs at his own ‘jokes’. Rude about people’s appearances, even spectators. And if he says ‘quite frankly’ one more time I may throw something through the screen. I would like an informative commentary which doesn’t revolve around the commentator. Use Rob Hatch, Daniel Lloyd and Matt Stevens PLEASE

well i signed the petition a couple of years ago and this time I complained to Eurosport and received a 'response' then a 'how did we do?' email. I complained again. In a rare moment when i switched the sound on I heard Dan Lloyd? say, 'Let's get back to the racing..' sums it up..I may not even watch with the sound off soon..we might be better off appealing to C4 to cover the Vuelta..
