Get rid of Carlton Kirby

Kirby ruins every race he commentates on. And SHAME on the others who commentate with him and don't pull him up on his inane thoughts he insists on presenting as being thoughts of riders, directors etc it's totally infuriating. Where else can go to to escape him?

I agree with everything raised. GCN+ does have a range of good commentators to draw on, so why persist with the most inane non-commentator of them all? Every time he laughs at one of his own 'jokes' it makes me grind my teeth.

David Duffield will be turning in his grave...Kirkby spoils every race he opens his mouth for.

complaint is spot on. I thought he was talking to an imaginary friend half the time.

Carlton is annoying....but not as annoying as Orla. Please get rid of her as well.

I'd really love to sign up for GCN but I can't face having Kirby commentating. I have to mute his random ramblings on Eurosport but as much as I love my cycling I can't justify spending money on something that I have to watch in silence. Give us less Kirby and more Lloyd, Blythe, Kelly, Stevens, Hatch, Cox, McEwan, etc, etc

I usually mute him because of his inate ramblings. how other presenters put up with him I do not know. screaming in the last Km is really annoying. pension him off PLEASE.

He is SO. AWFUL.

Insufferable bore. Nonstop drivel coming out of his pie hole.

Every time I switch the cycling on my heart sinks when I hear his voice. How he keeps his job when he is clearly so out of his depth.

I was appalled at his sexist comments recently; he implied wives would need to find something else to do whilst all the racing was on... An insult to women like me who enjoy cycle racing... And insulting to women's cycling. The man needs to go! I'm sick of his inane, insulting and incorrect commentary.

I have never heard such rubbish from this man get rid of him. Much prefer to listen to the womens races.

I wish he would just talk about the race. The other commentators on GCN do a nice job of talking tactics and riders the whole time which is more enjoyable.

There's something deeply wrong with someone who laughs so enthusiastically at his own jokes.

He is NOT funny. Repeat: NOT FUNNY. I am an American and we are experts in horrendous and incompetent commentating. Carlton is up there with the very worst American commentators. You can tell his fellow broadcasters desperately want to tell him to shut the hell up.
