I'd urge everyone to contact your provider directly. The more emails or tweets etc Discovery or Eurosport receive the more likely they are to start to take notice. We pay for their service and have to listen to the self aggrandising juvenile drivel Kirby pumps out day in day out. Let them know you are unhappy with their product because of this one man.

Kirby spoils every TDF that I have watches, so much so that I watch it with the sound off which spoils the atmosphere of the race.

"Another rider coming across to join the fun." If he thinks riding up a 10% hill is fun he should try it.!!
Everyone I've spoken to hates his commentary. All the other commentators are great, and don't try to crack silly funnies all the time. It's time to stick him on the bus.

Just to much irrelevant and very boring chat. Then lose flow of race which makes following it harder. Almost makes me turn off. I dont know how Brian Smith puts up with him.

Agree wholeheartedly with this petition. I’m watching a Carlson Kirby race right now, and he is blathering endlessly about nonsense having nothing to do with race. His current obsession is some pig-colon sausage he ate once. What??? He does not identify riders or accurately state what is happening. He is an awful announcer.

I cancelled my Discovery+ subscription for this month, knowing Kirby would be doing one of Dauphine and Suisse.
Just seen a 30 second clip online and I’ve overdosed on Kirby already - never am I EVER watching a race when Kirby is commentating on Thibau ‘Nice’ Nys… my brain cannot handle the endless, woeful, childish puns from this cretin.

Find most of his commentary pretty unhelpful / baseless speculation on 100 different alternatives. He can also be quite offensive about riders - watching Swiss tour today (10th June 24) and his comment at Bryan Coquard winning the stage was that it was a ‘mirror cracking’ smile - pretty awful comment to make on someone’s victory and pretty sure he’d be removed from air if he made a comment like that on a women’s race!
Kirby's commentary is a real turn off.
