My whole family listens to Texas Dirt Road Radio on Pandora. We are Texas transplants in Ohio and can’t get good Texas country music on the stations here. It’s all we listen to.
In a world of pop country controlling FM radio, the red dirt fan base is growing rapidly. The investment return alone would make it worth it. A lot of very smart people believe that the popularity of a red dirt station would grow swiftly.
We need red dirt music on XM radio. They represent every genre from the 40's to today, talk, gospel, 5 country stations and 3 play variations of mainstream country music. It's time red sir music has a voice and gets the recognition it deserves. Give it a 3 month test run, along with a fair chance promotional effort and you will like the response.
There's a reason why, even though I have an XM subscription, I spend more time streaming Pandora than listening to the crap on satellite and terrestrial radio here in San Antonio. Tried listening to Outlaw Country, but most of the programming on there is just as bad! This really needs to happen.
Don't say you have that covered on Outlaw Country because you're not even close. I wanna hear Roger Creager, kevin fowler, jerry Jeff walker, Robert earl keen, pat Green, charlie Robison, Doug Moreland, etc 24 hours a day.

If they can fit a Canadian country channel they have room for a dedicated red dirt/Texas channel
