There are plenty of ways to open the pool safely. Especially with vaccinations available to everyone in the county, it's definitely time to reopen the pool.

Lots of precedence on how to open community pools responsibly so encourage our Board to consider these in opening the pool.

The Board is really dragging its feet. Start working for and representing the residents! Why are you letting non-residents play on our tennis courts, but not letting paying residents swim in our pool?

This can absolutely happen safely, swimming in a pool full of chlorinated water is a lot safer than standing in line in Safeway waiting to pay for groceries! Walk around Heather Farms at the weekend and see the activities happening and opening the pools is minimal compared to everything going on there. We are in the midst of reopening schools, kids inside classrooms under the CDC guidelines of 3ft distance, If we can do that we can open these pools, outside, easy to distance and lots of chlorine, there are many community pools open and I've yet to hear of any having issues with Covid-19. As others have said, we pay a lot of money to live here and have the benefit of the pools. A large portion of our HOA fees pay Common Interest to oversee our HOA, we pay them for a service and I want to see them support the community that pay their salaries in a positive way. The question should be 'how can we make this happen' not 'how can we prevent this'. I'm very happy to sign this petition, please let me know how else to support.

This has gone on long enough. We pay for the pools! Heather Farms is open, the park and pool are open. They they playing tennis. Open our pools, it is safe!

Even if not a "full" re-opening there is no reason to keep the pool closed down entirely.

We demand that the pool be reopened for residents. We will be fully vaccinated by Easter and many other residents are vaccinated as well. It was neglectful to keep the pool closed through 2020 when it was possible to open it safely and at low capacity as residents offered to manage sign-ups and use.

Please reopen the pools May 1 or earlier if weather permits. In pre-pandemic times, we use the pool at our own risk; this should be no different now. I'd happily sign a waiver if that helps with the insurance.

When we moved to Bancroft village, we looked forward to spending the summer in sparkling clean water, and left our prior location that had an (open) pool. We contribute HOA fees, that support the operation of the pools in this neighborhood. We have a right to demand that this pool open for the benefit of health, happiness and quality of life living in this place. Please don't put yourselves in higher priority that the residents needs.
