I think it is a great idea because I loved cats!

At a time when we lack original people and youth willing to step outside of the box, it's awful to think that a school is willing to go so far instead of accepting a harmless, humoured photo of a student which isn't afraid of being an individual. Props to Draven for daring to be a little odd, quirky and creative. You're about to step into the "real world", knowing who you are is the biggest asset you can have.

Seriously whoever is giving this kid a hard time about this picture is ridiculous. Obviously his cat is important to him so let him have the picture in his yearbook. I had kids out pictures with their dogs and such so who is it hurting. People get all bent out of shape over the most ridiculous things.

I'm glad you were able to get your photo into the yearbook - it's an awesome photo! (Even if it does bring back dreaded memories of elementary school picture day, and make me feel old.)

It's a freedom of Expression he has a right to express himself isn't that what were encouraged to do nowdays express ourselves and be who we want to be thats what hes doing by expessing himself with something he cares for mixed with his passion

As someone with 8 total cats (5 house and 3 strays) I think Draven is a national hero and of course he should be allowed to put this amazing photo up!! Make this work!!!

I can totally understand that people & their pets often have a unique relationship, especially in cases of service animals. I can also understand the potential for this idea to explodebecause this one case can set a precedent. So, while I applaud this young man for thinking outside the box, I feel it is also his responsibility to take ownership of this idea/plan & to be accountable for issues that may arise as a result of his petition. Thank you for considering my input.
