I saw the video. the police were in no harms way they got out of the car said drop the knife and then started shooting. And keep your negative comments off of this page this is a page started by James sister and they don't need to see guys like you who have no idea what happened and weren't their to witness it happen. I pray for justice i didnt know this person but this was totally wrong for a young man be shot down and killed in a small community day light thankfully no one else was gunned down. What happened to ( Serve and protect? ) not to be ( shoot to Kill )

The forced used in this incident was far extreme for what could have been done to gave saved the life of a child clearly reaching out for help. Police officers are trained for this behaviour. A baton club could have been used to knock the knife away from the victim and spray to immobilize him. Shooting him multiple times was unjustified and there should be some huge punishments to those police officers. I'm my opinion they should be charged with murder 2.

I see a lot of people saying that he was a criminal and that he has a rap sheet. Yes he did some bad things in his life and mad mistakes but does that mean hes a criminal. NO it doesn't. We all make mistakes its just a part of life you don't see any of us sitting their and pointing are fingers at you for the mistakes you've made so don't you dare judge him on the mistakes hes made 2-4 years ago. Also in the pictures of him drinking and flipping the camera off, hes allowed to have fun just like all of us, don't judge him on the pictures you see of him.

There is no amount of money that the victims family is asking for that is going to help get justice for James .the justice system is the way it is . The family SAT he was such a great guy .I'm. Sure he was to some People .he does however have a rap sheet with police . Most of the photos his family post are of him drinking with his friends and posing with them giving the middle finger . Yes it's too bad the cops couldn't just subdue him but if the rcmp.feel threatened they do what they have to to feel.safe and make public. Safe
