Get Mr. Church back in our classroom!

Mr. Church is a fantastic teacher with a huge heart. Both he and his students deserve to benefit from his talents

I'm so sorry that Mr. church has been removed from teaching. He is simply an outstanding teacher. My daughter remembers him as the best educator ever! My dealings with the Pullman education district on the other hand was a different story. I was PTO/PTA president for some years at Sunnyside and observed the board to be secretive and acting with disregard for their shareholders in order to avoid conflicts. Apparently things have not changed from 7 years ago when a principal had to "disappear" since he apparently went bonkers!!! Still no explanation in that one. Good luck Mr. Church and know that your community is behind you. My daughter cherished having you as a teacher and our only regret was that we had to move before our two younger daughters could have been taught by you.

Mr. Church is an outstanding teacher and helps all the students succeed. I have seen many times where a teacher from a younger grade sends a student from their class to Mr. Church and Mr. Church sets up an award system for the individual and then the student has success. I think the this whole situation has been handled so unprofessional on all accounts.

Our daughter Subashree was a student in Mr. Church's grade 5 class (2014-2015) since the time our son Shyam studied at Sunnyside elementary since 2004, I have known Mr Church. I have not known a more professional and dedicated teacher. Our children (now Junior at PHS, 7Th grader at LMS) regard him highly even today. The school board is accountable and needs to explain this sick treatment of such an exemplary teacher to parents.

Please expedite reinstating Mr. Church. He has my full support!

This fantastic teacher needs to be in his classroom. What's up with the school board? This whole thing has gone on too long and Mr. Church's students are suffering. Best practice? Best practice would be to have Mr. Church return to what he's excellent at and passionate about...making a difference in kids' lives. Immediately.

This is inexcusable. As a parent who believes in the collaborative school community to support me in my efforts toward positive outcomes for my child, I deserve answers and continual quality classroom staff with accreditation/expierence to not be undermined by this process. Parents need information to better advocate for their children's needs and this matter should be discussed with parents!!!

I've heard great things about him, people still tap about him and I'm in high school right now, he should teach like honestly from what I've heard he's a great teacher,friend

I had Mr. Church during his first year at Sunnyside and I truly could not have asked for a better teacher and role model to rely on. Mr. Church took the initiative to gain students trust and sincerely look out for every student's well being, which I have not experienced in my time since being is his room. Having a genuine, trusted figure to receive help from greatly improved my attitude towards school and positively influenced relationships with others outside of the classroom. The school district is missing out on an outstanding teacher, and an even better person to lead children in the right direction as they approach larger responsibilities in life.

Me. Church was my daughter's teacher four years ago. She was going through a lot of transition at the time, and his steady, relaxed manner helped her so much during that time. I chaperoned several field trips and saw what a dedicated educator he is, and how much all of his students liked him. We need teachers like him In our schools.

He taught me so much about life. He's a great teacher, and should be impacting students lives for the better for many years to come.

Mr Church was the best elementary teacher I ever had! He taught me so much and I'm so greatful he was my teacher. He made school fun. Everyday in his class I would learn something new, smile and laugh. If I was ever sad Mr Church knew how to cheer me up. He will always be my favorite elementary teacher! Mr Church in my opinion, is the perfect example of what a teacher should be like. He is kind to all of his students and he has a passion for teaching. He truly was the best!
