As a mother of a child who was seriously ill in college and wasn't able to get her degree I believe Mia should be allowed to walk in graduation ceremonies with her classmates. This child is going through enough and the EB Board of Ed should help this young lady out, not make life more difficult for her. She can always continue her studies after the "official" graduation. Right now not only for her physical health, but also mental health she should be with her friends and classmates. Thank you.

This really bothers me when you do something like this and the poor girl is ill. Instead of telling her she may not graduate, why don't you send a tutor to help her complete the missed work. She didn't ask to get sick show some compassion.

I agree 100% The school should let Mia Graduate. It not her fault that she miss school due to a health condition. I miss alot of school when I was in 6th grade and they didn't care. why wouldn't let a senior graduate with her class she deserves to graduate with her class.

I also had problems with attendance due to serious health issues so I can relate. I hope all goes well and Mia remains in the class of 2016❤️
