I don't know Mia but what I do know is, Its so awful not to go to high school with your friends. I was the only one in my primary who went to Longdendale and had to start off on my own whilst everyone else already had their friends. Let Mia join her friends! X

This was a very similar situation with Alder that we were in with my daughter a few years ago. We managed to get her in on appeal, but they made us jump through hoops. Keep at it and don’t give up hope.

There is enough social pressure on children at this age as it is, if everybody else on the same road and from same school gets to go to her chosen school there is no legitimate reason to stop her from going

It doesn’t seem fair that out of a whole class Mia isn’t able to go to school with her friends. It seems crazy she lives on the same street as kids who got into Alder
