Mia, I'm absolutely certain you would be an asset to any school you attend and that it isnt any reason to do with you personally that you weren't offered a place at the school you wanted most. I can understand how upsetting this must be for you so I have signed your petition and am going to ask everyone I know to do the same in case it helps you get a place there.
But just remember, even if you dont get that place and have to go to another school, you will keep your old friends as well as making new ones and you will make your parents proud whatever happens.

What a ridiculous scenario this is. How can any 'board' or whatever they call it exclude a young girl in this way? My own daughter will be in a similar situation next year and I could not begin to imagine how upset she would be if the same thing happened to her. I sincerely hope common sense prevails and this young lady gets her wish.

This child has a right to be allocated a place at a school of her choice .She also has rights to attend the school that so happens to have accepted children already from her neighboring home . i feel this child has been isolated by your decision. I therefore believe this child has a right to bring these questionable decisions to a court of law ..

As an ex pupil of alder I hope she gets a place in the end I suffered 3 years of bullying and transferred to alder in year 9 and can honestly say I had the best years of my life there they helped me achieve grades that I was told at my previous school I would never reach the teachers are outstanding and I made some of the best friendships at this school no child should be denied the chance to go to the school of their choice, contact the headmaster directly he goes above and beyond for the kids in his school and did everything he could for me to get me a place within the school I wish you the best of luck xo
