I first saw LW at a Long Island club when hecwas the guitarist for the Vagrants. He was great then but Mountain brought his guitar prowess to a whole new level. He deserves to be inducted into the RRHF.

Why put in so many pop, rappers r&b groups but leave out such great Rockers as Mountain? Leslie West is such a fantastic rock guitarist and singer...

Saw them at Memphis Overton Park Shell in 1970. WEST, Pappalardi,Lang and whole band blew me away. Remember it like it was yesterday.

Are you mad? Not inducting one of the greatest melodic and inventive rock guitarists into the hall of fame? Shameful! How many guitarists learned melodic phrasing in the hard rock vein? Mountain was also the beginning of true hard rock!
