This would be a HUGE asset to our community! We live directly on South Shore Blvd. and without sidewalks or even safe shoulders to walk/bike on, I am constantly worried about the safety of my three small children.

I've ridden the lake for many years, this would be a great asset to the area for tourism and businesses, and fits with all the regional and city biking plans

As a biker and a resident of Birchwood, I bike around White Bear Lake frequently. I support funding for completion of the Lake Links Trail. Thank you.

I use these roads to bike home from work. With the curving roads, I don't know how many times a fast car has come up behind me surprised to see a biker on the road. They are most dangerous when cars underestimate how fast the bike is going, and try and pass the bike on a curve. Espeshaly along South Shore Blvd, where the sides and shoulders are filled with tire popping potholes.

We have lived in Birchwood Village for 31 years. Without sidewalks or safe easements we have had to strategically plan a walk or haul our bikes to bike trails. It has always been a hazard for those who would brave walking or riding down Cedar/Hall/Birchwood Rd and a worry for motorists navigating around them. How great it would be to bike or walk from our front door.

The Lake Links Trail is long overdo. The current roadways around the lake are very dangerous for bikers. This would be a terrific regional asset for all, and can hopefully eliminate any more terrible accidents involving bike riders around the lake.

As a cyclist, I ride around the lake several times a month during our non-winter time. The beauty of the lake is a treasure, despite my prayer of thanks when I arrive safely home. A bike/walk way is essential.
