Bravo! Lake Links Trail Gets Final Funding in 2020 Bonding Bill

As somebody who has run and biked these sketchy sections of road countless times, I am fully in support of a complete, safe ped/bike trail & route all the way around White Bear Lake.

We really need this trail! Our family has stopped trying to bike around WBL due to safety concerns. To have a combination of trails and quiet roads that allows a safe circling of WBL would be a great asset to the community and help bring all of us who do not live on the lake closer and more connected to the lake. Please get this done! We have been hearing about this possibility for years but it never seems to get accomplished. Thank you for your efforts. mtj

As a White Bear Lake resident I would LOVE to see this project completed! The lake is one of the best assets of living in White Bear Lake, it would be great to get more traffic to these wonderful establishments, our small town is one of the best in the state. Can't wait to see this completed and to have kids one day that will enjoy this amenity!

The current roads are very dangerous for bikers, we need this trail system!

I ride my bike around the lakes regularly, and there are extremely dangerous areas where drivers either pass illegally with inches of room, or pass illegally over double yellow lines on curves where they can't see oncoming traffic. These areas absolutely need improvement!

Get it going & done!

Very important to have safe walking paths in our community-- especially since we lack sidewalks in many places! Please pass this through!

I’d love to be able to safely walk around the lake. As a resident of WBL with lake access, I’d be thrilled to have safe passage around my lake!

We should be able to SAFELY enjoy the lake we all live near!

I grew up on WBL and loved biking and running around the lake, but I never felt safe on it since we had to go on the road on some sections of the loop. I remember my mother always telling us to be extra careful on those sections. This trail would be a lifesaver, literally, as well as a way to build connectivity among the neighborhoods near the lake and promote healthy, sustainable lifestyles. I support the project!

I love walking along White Bear Lake and would love to be able to walk or bike around it. I love how this trail wii connect so many communities around the lake.
