Can’t wait to bike around the lake with my grandchildren and fellow veterans.

I’ve been working on bike advocacy for years and this trail is of utmost need for the county and state.

I bike around the lake many times during the year, and some sections of the route are not safe. It would be wonderful to have a designated, safe trail to travel on which would make the round trip so much more enjoyable.

The current route around White Bear Lake is treacherous for bikers and pedestrians. This trail is desperately needed.

I live in Roseville, but work at Tamarack Nature Center in White Bear Lake. Our staff has taken kids on bike tours in the area, and traffic is always a concern. I was riding with kids one summer and was yelled at and given the finger by an angry motorist as he zoomed by our group (which was safely on the shoulder). Trails like these are very much needed!

My regular exercise is biking and walking. I live in Mahtomedi where the outdoors is gorgeous but often dangerous to access

This area is full of families, and at this point it is not safe for kids (or adults, frankly) to ride bikes around the lake and enjoy the area. I am so thankful and excited that this is progressing.

This would be a huge asset to the community. It would be so nice to be able to safely bike around or walk sections of our beautiful lake. Thanks for the continued efforts.

We hope to finally see a safe walking path available after 60 plus years of our family living in the area.

Please find this heavily needed project. As a resident on South Shore Blvd, I am very fearful to take my kids out for a bike ride or a walk. The roads are too unsafe with no pedestrian options.
