This is so unfair that the Board of Ed would even remove the Hope youth group from our schools, This group has changed my daughter for the better. If it wasn't for the Hope youth group my daughter wouldn't be who she is today. I really approve of this group here on our reserve and hope that the Board of Ed will let them back in. Our youth need this group to better themselves. Please let them back in!!!

This is insane! I can't believe the board would go this far. Don't they want us to do good and have really good role models? HOPEyouth played a huuuuuuge part in my high school life! In fact, it changed my life! It changed my lifestyle completely. Anyways, sign this petition please and help get HOPEyouth back into our Wikwemikong schools!

It saddens me, to learn of this situation. Why? sabotage a 'Good Thing'! Some of Our Students join this Youth Group...its a 'choice' they make for themselves and we as parents should support their choice when it leads Our young to positive change. I am very 'impressed' with a young couple who commit themselves to serve Our young people. I've seen the impact they have. Many of our Youth have their troubles and some seek for Help/Guidance. I'm glad for My Sons involvement with HopeYouth these past High School Years. I'm glad He chose 'Faith' rather than the Alternatives' that He could have easily got into. Through prayer and understanding/listening...this Helped in Dark Times/Sorrowful Losses. A 'light' was ignited and His Spirit shone again. They had a place to gather on Wednesday nights. I know My Son looked forward to these nights as well as the many other activities that Our Youth are able to partake in. Positive activities/Camps where they meet others. As a parent, I feel 'Blessed' to see My Son studying/reading a Bible. Having 'Faith' and this for sure, is a 'good thing'! Miigwetch...Hope the powers that be...reconsider...why? take away a 'gathering-place' that some of Our Youth look forward too?

HOPEyouth gives the exact thing it is titled, hope! This should be more than enough of a reason to allow HOPEyouth back into the school.

I personally know of the people who wants to spend time with the youth and I can assure you that they have only e best interest of the students in mind. From what I have heard HOPEyouth had a tremendous impact in the past on some of these students. Why removing something that is helpful for a community who obviously thrive with this outreach. Please reconsider and allow the, to offer activities for the youth who will grow under their wings.

As a former student of HOPEYouth, I can honestly say that I would not be here right now. HOPEYouth has helped me so much with my life. And it was the only thing I looked forward during the week. HOPEYouth is much more than being a Wedsneday night hangout or a Sunday Night Bible Study, its about making solid relationships with one another. Relationships that will last forever and ever. And its those relationships that help motivate me to keep going in life, being a role model for one another, and just being there when someone is going through a rough time. HOPEYouth is about love, and why take away love when everyone need Love

HOPEyouth has been a huge part of my life for the last 6 years. Not just the wonderful people who run it, but the energy and vibes from this group helped me through my darkest times. HOPEyouth is an AMAZING group and opportunity for students and children/young adults in Wiky.

We need more light/happiness within our students.. too much of us feel sadness, depression or what ever it may be. This would be a great thing for many of us, doing more healthy activities with friends, start being less involved in the "activities" most teenagers do around here. Not only will be good for our physical health but also for our mental health. I know that it will help me a lot.. depending if i even stick around here.

From what I know by experience spending my time at youth group many student from school enjoyed it a lot. It was also good to see people from my community playing sports and hanging out doing something healthy with friends.
