It is outrageous and unacceptable that a nurse should be treated in this way for following her professional duty to advocate on behalf of the patient as well as following the policies of her employer and the law,” Cipriano wrote. β€œIt is imperative that law enforcement and nursing professionals respect each other and resolve conflicts through dialogue and due process.”

What a horrible representation of serving and protecting! Abusing your job to BULLY and ABUSE woman. What a HOT temper on top of trying to illegally sneak back in to draw blood himself. I would never want him showing up if I ever called 911! Disgraceful BULLY!

James Tracy's ignorance of current law regarding blood draws and his aggressive approach towards a competent health care provider make him completely unfit for law enforcement.

This city is not safe having a criminal like Jeff Payne as a police officer.

I can understand why he did it but I can not justify it. And the fact that everyone there just let it happen...evil wins when good people do nothing.

He had no right to arrest or detain that nurse. She was following hospital policy and the law. Police are there to enforce the law, they're not lawyers, they can not interpret it. He should be immediately terminated for assaulting this nurse, and using excessive force. All other officers should be suspended and receive retraining, their silence allowed him to behave this way and it's unacceptable.

Egregious, criminal and every other word you can think of. This POS officer is what spoils things for all the good officers out there. I hope he receives jail time for his actions.

This officer should also be fired from his job as an ambulance driver. His comments make it clear he is not capable of maintaining or making decisions for the best interest of patients.

What I saw was so blatantly illegal and deplorable. The supervisor then stating and I'm paraphrasing here...you should have complied and if it was an illegal blood draw that will get sorted out later. I am appalled

Immediately terminate and prosecute Payne and everyone involved with this incident. Otherwise, the nurse should sue the crap out of everyone (police department, the city, each individual involved personally)!
