As a soon to be graduating nurse, behaviors like these are disgraceful. This man should be removed from his post immediately.

Nurses good. Police bad.

Police officers that get caught on camera doing theses things should be fired on the spot! Instead they get a slap on the wrist and sent to another dept. If they were fired maybe they would think twice about abusing their power. Makes me sick!

Not only did the nurse never touch him, she also was complying with the hospital's rules. If a detective not only arrests, but attacks somebody for following the rules, they have no business in law enforcement. It amazes me how he continues to roam the streets, whilst also being paid. If I attacked someone like he attacked them, you best believe I'd not only not be paid, but be fired.

Having been a nurse in a major trauma hospital, I must say I have never seen such absurd action in my career! The law enforcement does a very good job of protecting us as we do them. This guy needs to be gone from being a cop period!

Too many good, hard working cops out there too let someone like this have a badge. He gives law enforcement a bad name.

As per the bodycam video, the officer is also a part time EMT and verbalizes the statement that he will retaliate by determining distribution of future ambulance clients. No other industry offers administrative leave for similar behavior.

Officers must have an understanding of LAW in order to uphold and enforce the LAW. Remove these officers from the force immediately

This sickens and enfuriates me. The law is in place for a reason, to protect the citizens of our country. Our officers are there to abide by the law, not twist it for their own personal gain. This man disrespected the law and disrespected the medical field. He should lose his pention and be off the streets. Who knows how many times he has done this and lost his temper OFF camera? Disgusting. The only thing more disgusting are those who enable him by standing by and doing nothing. Seems like the police are more interested in protecting their own rather than the public.

When people ask why the public is losing faith in the integrity of US police officers, this is it right here. And the worst part about it, is that every other officer watched it happen without stopping him. His superior officer is just as guilty for not intervening in this.

He needs to loose his job for what he has done. Anyone else would loose their job.

35 years in healthcare, mostly in ERs. This is beyond appalling.
