There is little less abhorrent in a free society than the abuse of sacred authority.

Do the right thing Chief Brown. A crime has been committed. Criminal charges must be filed. James Tracy and Jeff Payne must be held accountable in a court of law. This is absolutely unbelievable. These 2 officers are a danger to the public and can never be trusted. Please do the right thing and hold them accountable .

This is unforgivable. There is no excuse for for the way Detective Payne and Lt. Tracy treated Nurse Wubbels. She had no choice but to follow hospital policy in order to keep her job and her nursing license. Furthermore, she was following the law, not just hospital policy.

Do you really want these two men representing your police dept? They have obviously gotten away with abuse of power before, at a time when people have lost faith in the police. Cut off their paid leave and end your relationship with these two thugs!!

another instance of law enforcement ignoring laws. why did they need a blood draw from an innocent victim. whole thing stinks from start to finish.

This is exactly why people turn against the police who are there to RESTORE law and order, NOT BREAK it. FIRE this piece of trash, this is unacceptable and WE THE PEOPLE will NOT accept it!

This Nurse was doing her job and saving people. That officer had no jurisdiction to do what he done to the nurse.

As a graduate of the University of Utah, I feel that the Utah state government should seriously consider instating the death penalty towards police who exercise this level of stupidity and gross negligence. This excuse for a human being is not fit to call himself a police officer; moreover - human.

SLC used to be my home and at a time I had a great respect for law enforcement, always observing officers abiding by law and being reasonable with citizens on a streak of bad luck. Detective Payne has sullied that name, and with police brurality on the rise, he has shown me that no where is safe. Please fire Jeff Payne and provide relief for Alex Wubbels he assaulted and the citizens of America from the fear of another baseless attack on a civilian.

Detective Jeff Payne clearly has anger management issues and could seriously harm innocent people when he does not get his way. Mr Payne needs serious psychological counselling and, at best, re-training.

This detective is not suitable to be on the police force. He's a violent unstable person who throws a tantrum when he doesn't get what he wants. He should be immediately removed from duty.
