Radium One's multimillionaire CEO Gurbaksh Chahal was charged with 45 felony counts for domestic violence and battery against his girlfriend. A videotape showed Chahal assaulting his girlfriend 117 times during the attack. Chahal will receive no jail time after pleading guilty to misdemeanor domestic violence after Judge Brendan Conroy ruled that the video could not be used as evidence.
Conde Nast willingly entered into a partnership with a company whose CEO batters women. Given that Conde Nast's flagship includes Vogue, W, Allure, Self, Glamour, Teen Vogue and Lucky it's astounding that they have no compunction about doing business with a company under the leadership of a domestic abuser.
Violence against women should not be tolerated by either individuals or corporations. Please sign this petition to have them drop Radium One as a partner.
